Lowell's Auto Repair Replaces Filters
At Lowell’s Auto Repair, we believe that regular maintenance is essential for keeping your car running smoothly. One important aspect of this is replacing your car’s filters.
There are a few different filters in your car that need to be replaced at regular intervals to ensure proper function.
The Engine Air Filter
The engine air filter keeps debris and dirt out of your engine and should be replaced every 12,000 to 15,000 miles or as recommended by your car’s manufacturer.
Cabin Air Filter
The cabin air filter, also known as the pollen filter, is responsible for keeping the air inside your car clean and should be replaced every 15,000 to 25,000 miles or as recommended by your car’s manufacturer.
The fuel filter filters the fuel that enters your engine and should be replaced every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or as recommended by your car’s manufacturer. And the oil filter, which removes contaminants from your engine oil, should be replaced every time you change your oil, typically every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
